<li>This is a great way to get taste of sailing.<li>

<strong>Group Taster Lesson: One Hour Sailing Near Bournemouth with ShoreSports</strong>
<li>Want to try sailing but don’t yet want to commit to a course? Our sailing taster options are for you with a maximum group size of 6, this is a great way to give the sport a go. 1 hour and 2 hour options available.</li>

<strong>Private Lessons: Available for all sailing abilities and younger ages.</strong>
<li>Want to learn to sail but would prefer 1:1 tuition? Our private lessons are a great way to get to grips with the sport as well as to develop higher levels sailing skills. Private lessons are available to book via email.</li>

<ul>Tuition for all lessons and courses is provided by our team of RYA qualified instructors; wetsuits and bouyancy aids are included</ul>

<li>For all group lessons and courses sailors must be 8+.</li>

Youth Sailing

<h2>New for the 2026 season, we are introducing our own Youth Sailing Scheme and syllabus. Learn to Sail in Christchurch, Dorset with Shoresports</h2>
<strong>Discover why young people love sailing</strong>

<ul>Learning to sail is fun and exciting and for the youth these elements are even more important. At Shoresports we are dedicated to providing high quality, fun tuition for young people in all stages of their sailing journey.
</ul>

<strong>Saturday Sailing Club</strong>
<li>Our Youth Saturday Sailing Club is a great way for young people to develop their sailing skills. This group (for those aged 8-16) has a pre-requisite of 10 hours tuition or our Shoresports Set to Sail Certificate (for more information on certificates see below).

<strong>Group Taster</strong>
<li>Going through basic turns, called tacking, stopping and starting using the power of the sails are just a few of the skills the you will be introduced to in the first session and a group taster (of up to 6 sailors aged 8-16) is the ideal way to give this sport a go.</li>

<strong>Private Lessons</strong>
<li>These sessions are great for developing specific skills as the instructor is able to work closely with the young person to achieve their sailing goals. These sessions are also great for younger children who are not old enough to join group sessions.</li>

<strong>Summer Sailing Kids Clubs</strong>

Both of these kids club courses are a great way to start learning / develop sailing skills in a fun group setting.</li>
