<strong>Group Taster</strong>
<li>Going through basic turns, called tacking, stopping and starting using the power of the sails are just a few of the skills the you will be introduced to in the first session and a group taster (of up to 6 sailors aged 8-16) is the ideal way to give this sport a go.</li>

learning to sail is fun and exciting and for the youth these elements are even more important. At Shoresports we are dedicated to providing high quality, fun tuition for young people in all stages of their sailing journey

Saturday Sailing Club

  • Our Youth Saturday Sailing Club is a great way for young people to develop their sailing skills. This group (for those aged 8-16) has a pre-requisite of 10 hours tuition or our Shoresports Set to Sail Certificate (for more information on certificates see below).

    Private Lessons

  • These sessions are great for developing specific skills as the instructor is able to work closely with the young person to achieve their sailing goals. These sessions are also great for younger children who are not old enough to join group sessions.

    • Summer Sailing Kids Clubs

    Both of these kids club courses are a great way to start learning / develop sailing skills in a fun group setting.
  • All our courses are led by RYA qualified instructors and include all necessary equipment e.g. wetsuits, boyancy aids etc.
